Series Description
`America`s Quest for Freedom` dramatizes our common history in pursuing freedom as the real American Dream. By juxtaposing events usually studied in isolation, it reveals that incidents and eras which increased freedoms for some groups were often accompanied by forces suppressing liberty for others. Its theme is that while our history is about conflicting and contradictory movements, our historical momentum is leading us toward more freedoms for all.
