Series Description
A man of restless and prodigious intellect and sensitivity, Leonardo da Vinci was a great artist, scientist, inventor, courtier, and athlete. He represents both the optimism and the pessimism of the Renaissance. The mysteries and ambiguities of his life and art seem to make him a perfect pre-figuration of the modern man, as his era was of the modern age. This series features stunning reenactments of the Renaissance from Renato Castellani's classic, "The Life of Leonardo da Vinci."
