Series Description

In Fokus Deutsch-Level 1, Professor Bob and Marion introduce fundamental concepts of German by weaving together German culture and history with basic vocabulary and language structure. Perfect for beginning language learners, the narratives are easy to follow and reinforce newly learned concepts. Every fourth program offers a comprehension review.

In Fokus Deutsch-Level 2, students follow language out of the classroom and into the community. Professor Bob and Marion, his assistant, introduce advanced language structure through stories and topics students can identify with, like school, travel, and personal relationships. Every fourth program offers a comprehension review.

The Fokus-Deutsch series comes to a close in Level 3, with students digging deeper into complex language structure by exploring national issues, like the economy, the education system, Women's history, and more. Every fourth program provides a comprehension review.
