These curriculum correlations are designed to help educators locate the instructional television (ITV) resources provided by the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board (ECB) that correlate to the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for Social Studies. Included among the ITV programs are references, where appropriate, to the Wisconsin: Celebrating People, Place and Past CD-ROM.

For each of the performance standards for social studies, instructional television resources have been identified that will provide information for the teachers and students to help in addressing the standards. Each ITV series is identified, followed by the suggested grade level(s) in parentheses, then by the individual programs from that series. If no program numbers are indicated, the entire series applies to that standard. Likewise with the Wisconsin: Celebrating People, Place and Past CD ROM, the theme is indicated and where none is indicated, the information can be located throughout the entire CD.
